facilitated by a variety of educators within the TBS family. Courses are

Tuesdays at 1:30
The study of torah has been a fundamental part of
the Jewish tradition since its inception. In the
biblical period, Jews would gather during visits to
the market and listen to the torah being read.
Later, commentaries written by some of the world's
greatest scholars gave new life to an old test. And
today, Jews around the world continue to come
together to learn from our shared inheritance.
We invite you to join Rabbi James as we continue
that tradition with some Lunch-Time Torah. This
class will meet on Tuesdays at 1:30pm, during weeks
where Torah will be read at Temple Beth Sholom.

Adult Hebrew
Have you ever wanted to learn how to read Hebrew
but aren’t sure where to begin? Did you know how
but now have forgotten? Do you need a little help
keeping up with you children and their Hebrew
homework? If so, then this class is just for you!
Come learn with Rabbi James as
we learn all about the Hebrew alef-bet. We will
start with letters and vowels and by the end of the
year you will be reading prayers and understanding
key words and grammatical principles of Hebrew!
The class will meet on 18
Sunday evenings and the cost for the entire year is
$72 which includes all materials. RSVPs are
required for participation, and class size will be
limited so contact the TBS office to register early!
