The Last Laugh

The Last Laugh is a feature documentary which asks the question whether it is ever acceptable to use humor about major tragedies. Are any topics off limit or are such jokes acceptable expressions of free speech? Mel Brooks, Carl and Rob Reiner, Sarah Silverman, Gilbert Gottfried, David Steinberg, and others give their views and tell their jokes. The movie also features a Holocaust survivor. Find out how she gets “the last laugh.”

Mitzvah Opportunities
Friday Night Onegs
Consider sponsoring in honor of a simcha or in memory of a loved one. Onegs are held after Shabbat services (except for the first Friday potluck), and after Shabbat Morning Services on the first and third Saturday each month.
Mitzvah Meals
Mitzvah Meals are convenient meals ready to hand out to those in need.
$3.00 each or 4 for $10.00
Meals can be picked up in the office after payment is made through the office. Email Shelley Kaplan to order.
Deposit Bottles for Baneinu Scholarships
This program raises funds specifically for Baneinu Scholarships. Pick up a pre-labeled blue bag from TBS and fill it with your clean cans and bottles for deposit redemption. You can either drop off the full bags at any Bottle Drop location or bring it to TBS.
